Among the original laid-back caribbean villages of Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo, (in the South Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica), right in front of Cocles Beach , an enchanting and serene lodge, in complete harmony with the surrounding tropical rainforest, awaits you at AZANIA BUNGALOWS.
Just a few steps from the Caribbean sea , with the tropical rainforest in background, the spacious and tastefully decorated bungalows are privately set apart amidst lush gardens full of color and natural beauty.
Designed and crafted in a unique style that blends traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, with a modern building concept, each bungalow has a particular atmosphere. Each one comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy and wonderful spatial flexibility. All decorated with bamboo lamps and furniture, while ceiling fans, large windows with mosquito nets and high peaked roofs allow a refreshing natural air circulation..
   
Every bungalow comfortably lodge up to four people, with one queen size bed and two twin size beds, one of them placed in the mezzanine to provide privacy.
Each bungalow comes with minibar, security box and a softly lit original sauna-style bathroom that allows you to enjoy a shower while admiring the natural surroundings. Its own private deck and hammock out front, invites to relax and enjoy the colorful tropical gardens of the surroundings covered with bromeliads, heliconias, gingers, palms and tropical fruit trees, which interact with a great variety of birds and butterflies, as well as to listen to the different sounds of the jungle or just lie under a bright moonlight and sparkling stars.
RESTAURANT & BAR
Regarding gastronomy, Azania Bungalows offers the possibility of tasting exquisite dishes in its own restaurant, where we combine the new Argentinean Cuisine with local ingredients and flavors.
The Restaurant is located at the "Quincho" style rancho next to the swimming pool, together with the sculpted waterfall connecting the jacuzzi, making the perfect combination to enjoy this place during the day as well as in the night time.
At noon, we offer you light and fresh food such as a large variety of exotic salads, homemade bread sandwiches or other delicious dishes like squid rings, house omelets, guacamole and much more. Meanwhile, you can enjoy a refreshing bath or simply lie back while admiring the natural surrounding.
In the evening, before sitting down for a candle light dinner, we suggest you to start with your favorite Cocktail while listening to the rhythm of local caribbean music in our bar located at the "Club House".
Later, you can continue the evening in our restaurant tasting the flavors of fresh natural products, prepared with the technics of the New Argentinean Cuisine, in a casual elegance ambiance.
This fusion cuisine is brought to this area by our chef Fernando Patané, who has created a new gastronomy concept unifying the local culinary culture with those from the south of our continent.
Unique on it's style, our restaurant offers a large menu with Grill Specialties, and not only the well known Argentinean meat, but also sea food and fresh fish coming directly from the ocean to the hands of our chef.
We also give you the opportunity to taste the Argentinean delicious wines brought from Mendoza, Los Andes Mountain Region, to make your dinner even better.
